A statuette of Holy Mary with baby Jesus atop the entrance of the church. Looks Romanic to me.

Old houses of the typical architecture of the Celts who settled here. They originated from the Isle Of Man which lies between Ireland and Scotland.

Not just the walls and doors look different – my, those roofs! Somehow they remind me of an old black and white picture taken right after D-Day on one of those beaches the Allied Forces took hold of.
